The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the age of 53 years. Son of Lucy (née McGrath) Strickland of Verner and of the late Emile Strickland. Loving father of Michael (Ashley) and Derick (Trina) both of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Cohen and Breelynn. Also survived by his friend, Debbie. Dear brother of André (Vera) of St Catharines, Elizabeth (Betty) Serré (Gerard) of Verner, Ralph (Arlene) of Kitchener, Rodney (Lisa) of Newfoundland, Jean Strickland (friend Richard) of Alberta and Emile Jr. (Lynn) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his four brothers. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
