The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Tuesday, July 22nd 2014 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Palma Labelle and of the late Winnifred (née Lafleur) Labelle. Loving husband of 52 years to Jeannette (née Séguin) Labelle of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Gordon (Cindy), Marc, Normand (Tina) and Dan (Rosemary) all of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren Angèle, Karine, Cloé, Félix, André, Caitlyn and Roch. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Albain (Jeannine of Sturgeon Falls), Alfège (late Lianne), May (late Polydore Labelle) (late Jim Moore), Aurèle, Jean-Guy (Colette of Sturgeon Falls). Also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law Michel Seguin (Chris), François (Micheline), Colette (Richard Filion) all of Sturgeon Falls, John (Wendy) of North Bay, Nicol (Anne) of Field, Louise Lachance (Roger) of Cache Bay , Micheline of Toronto, Louis (Sue) of Hamilton, Omer (Gisele) of Field. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Lise (Steve Lombos of Hamilton). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Allan was an avid sports enthusiast who was involved in hockey and baseball in many capacities. He was a scout for the OHL, a dedicated volunteer, coach and always there to support and encourage. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls Friday July 25th 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday July 26th 2014 at 11:00 in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities would be appreciated.
