Auguste "Ti-Gus"  Levac
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury Thursday March 1 2012, at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Domina Levac and the late Emilie (née McMurray) Levac. Loving husband of Berthe (née Rainville) Levac of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Sylvie St-Georges (Mike) of North Bay and Linda Levac Rochon (Luc) of Lavigne. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Maxime, Jean-Luc, Ashley, Aaron and Zach. Also survived by his brothers and sisters Isidore Levac (Rose-Anne), Blanche Lavergne (late Roméo), Fernand Levac (Jacqueline) all of Sturgeon Falls, Marie Carter (George) of Windsor and Roger Levac (Shirley) of Kingston. Predeceased by his brothers Domine (late Marie-Rose), Alcide (late Alida), Henri (late Germaine), Léo (late Léa), Lucien (late Yvette), André (Patricia of Sturgeon Falls), Ernest (late Germaine) and by his sister Florence Brulé (late Alex). Ti Gus was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus in the third and fourth degree as well as acting as an usher at Sacré Coeur Church on Sunday mornings for many years. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday March 4, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday March 5, 2012 at 11:00 in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. (cheques only). The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the West Nipissing General Hospital and Health Sciences North, Sudbury for their excellent care and compassion.
