The family announces with sorrow her death in Kirkland Lake, May 21 2012, at the age of 64 years. Daughter of the late Norman and the late Dorothy (née Hall) Fairfield. Wife of the late Michael Harwood. Loving mother of Kathryn Lavoie (Mark) of Englehart, Kevin Harwood of Sturgeon Falls, Kim McLeod (Harry) of Sturgeon Falls , Steve Rigby of Ardrie, Alberta and Chris Jones of Carp. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jessica, Callyssa, Grayson, Leah, Donovan, Scott and by her great-grandson Kingston Beaucage. Also survived by her brothers Ron Fairfield (Darlene) of Sturgeon Falls, Mike Fairfield (Judy) of Strathmore, Alberta and by her sister Peggy McGregor (Stewart) of Elliot Lake. Predeceased by her sister Sue Moody (Leonard of Lockport) and by her brothers David Fairfield and Donald Fairfield. Barbara will also be missed by her close friends Mary and Bruce Chapman of McDonald Corners. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday May 26th after 2pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:30 in the funeral home chapel.
