It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brian Gringel on July 3, 2012, at the age of 57 years. Beloved son of Annette (nee Robitaille) Gringel of Sturgeon Falls, and Walter Gringel (predeceased), brother of Louise Caswell (nee Gringel) and uncle to his precious niece Desiree Caswell of McKinney, Texas. He will also forever live in the hearts of his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian enjoyed a career of 25+ years at Hydro One. A lifelong resident of the Sudbury Area, Brian shared a passion for the WWF wrestling with his father Walter. An avid game hunter and fisherman, Brian enjoyed much of his leisure time at the hunting camp on Manitoulin Island and at his camping trailer on Lake Nipissing. His joy of golf also brought out his competitive nature and his humor. Many thanks to St. Jude who allowed us to enjoy Brian’s company longer than expected. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m, on Saturday July 14th at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
