Obituary for Brian Smith
Smith, Brian (1948-2017)
The family announces with sorrow his death at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury, Friday, June 30, 2017, at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Leslie Smith and of the late Freda Lusk. Brian is survived by his wife Helen (née Vallier) Smith of Monetville and by his children Shelley Depner of Michigan, Lori Dickson (Dave) of Timmins and David (Lisa) of Capreol. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 10 grandchildren and by his brother James (Rose) of Wahnapitae-First Nation. Brian was retired from INCO after more than 28 years of service. To honor his request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Donations in his memory can be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff at the Northern Cancer Treatment Center and to the wonderful staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice. Arrangements in care of the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
