The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday August 31th 2015, at the age of 53 years. Daughter of Marcel Généreux of Bonfield and of the late Edwidge (née Gélinas) Généreux. Loving mother of Tasha Bélanger (Stéphane) of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Alexie and Zoé. Dear sister of Roch (Monique) and Joanne Généreux –Sauvé both of Sturgeon Falls. Also survived by her nephews Eric, André, Jason (Lisa), Nathan (Brigitte) and by her great niece Peyton. Carmen will also be missed by her friend and companion Richard. She graduated as an R.N. and practiced for over 25 years. Her passion was working as a palliative care nurse. Many thanks and appreciation to Dr. Morrison, Dr. Bourgault and staff at West Nipissing General Hospital for their dedicated and compassionate care. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, September 3rd 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday September 4th, 2015 at 11:00 in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care) would be appreciated (cheques only).
