Cécile  Levesque (née Acoulon)
The Levesque family announces with sorrow the passing of Cécile Acoulon Levesque
on July 25, 2013 at the age of 96. She was the daughter of Albert Acoulon and Marie Syrah. Predeceased by her husband Louis, she leaves in grief her sons Marcel (Marie Gratton), Philippe (Carole Deschamps and children Eric, Chantale, Véronique, Pascal and Yanik) as well as her daughter Claudette (John Edgar) and grandchildren Nicholas (Leeanne) and Bradley (Lianne). Predeceased by her half-sister Suzanne she also leaves in grief her half-brothers Michel and Yves, her cherished sisters-in-law Jacqueline and Madeleine and many nephews and nieces.
Born in Montreal she spent the major part of her life in Sturgeon Falls where, as a volunteer, she was one of the founding members of Les Châtelaines at Au Château as well as a member of the Fédération des femmes canadiennes-françaises. The family will receive those who knew and loved her for a memorial visitation at Théoret Bourgeois funeral home in Sturgeon Falls on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11a.m. at Sacred Heart church in Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (local chapter) or the Canadian Cancer Society (local chapter) would be appreciated (cheques only)
