The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday, January 26, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Daughter of the late Louis Gagnon and of the late Léona (née Venne) Gagnon. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Sylvestre. Cherished mother of Joanne Piette (Yves), Michelle Sylvestre (Michael Bretzloff), France Sylvestre (Marc Carrière) all of Sturgeon Falls, Angèle Ouellette (Gilles) of St Catharine and Réjean Sylvestre (Linda) of Lavigne. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and by her 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Florence Sylvestre (Pierre) of North Bay, Alcide Gagnon (Denise) of Sturgeon Falls, Hubert Gagnon (Ann) of Stouffville, Georges Gagnon (Hélène Dénommé) of Verner, Raymond Gagnon (Carmen) of Cache Bay and Nicole Gagnon-Thomas (Mark) of Orléans. Predeceased by her sister Carmen Hunter. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Verner, Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday morning from 9 to 10h30. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am, at St Jean-Baptist Church, Verner. Donations to Au Chateau would be appreciated. (cheques only).
