Lachance Edouard (1927-2015)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday, November 2nd 2015 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Émile Lachance and of the late Emma (née Drouin) Lachance. Loving husband of Jeannine (née Prud’homme) Lachance of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Émile (Denise), Denise Savage (Jacques), Omer (Diane), Marc all of Sturgeon Falls, Léo of Timmins, Gérald (Beverly) of Woodstock, Robert (Nola) of Oshawa, Marcel of Cambridge, Paul (Monica), Luc (Lisa) both of Amherstburg, Joanne (Chris) of Revolstoke, B.C., Lise (Paulin) of Longueil, QC and Claire Caron (Luc) of Chelmsford. Predeceased by his son Jacques. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 25 grandchildren and by his 19 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sisters Aurore Cook and Eva Cook. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday November 7th, 2015 after 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Many thanks and appreciation to the V.O.N, Red Cross, Dr. Susini and Dr. Julie Breton-Fortin and the nursing staff at the West Nipissing General Hospital for their dedication and compassionate care to Edouard and his family.
