The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Friday May 24th 2013, at the age of 73 years. Son of the late Hilding and the late Helga (née Lungrin) Jacobson. Loving husband of Lorraine Jacobson (née Cayen) of Warren. Dear father of Aaron (Em) Jacobson of Vancouver, Michelle Blais (Gaëtan Lamothe) of Chelmsford, Terrance (Pam) Jacobson of Warren, and Kyle (Chantal) Jacobson of Markstay. Predeceased by his daughter Leeanne (Pat Labelle of Wahnapitae). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Erik of Garson and his sister Elsa of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brothers Burton and Allen. Edward was employed at Inco for 30 years, worked part time for Yveroy Enterprises and did some guiding for Lake Obabika Lodge. He was once a member of the Warren and District Lions Club. The family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, 17 Rutland Ave. Warren, Tuesday May 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated (cheques only).
