The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, February 11th 2014, at the age of 92 years. Son of the late Horace Roy and of the late Amanda (née Thibeault) Roy. Predeceased by his wife Lucie (née St Georges) Roy. Loving father of Colette Fortin (late Isidore) of Field, Raymonde Bennett (Wayne) of Markstay, Rejean (Jeannine), Richard both of Field and Ghislaine Bruyère (late Archie) of Chelmsford. Predeceased by his son Robert. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 20 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also survived by his sister Rollande Langevin (Pierre) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his brothers Roger (late Mona), Lionel, Jean Claude, Edgar, Gabriel, Normand and by his sisters Germaine, Gisèle and Annonciade. The family will receive friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday February 14th 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Saturday friends may call after 10:30 am. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday February 15th 2014 at 1:30 pm in Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church, Field.
