Obituary for
Florian "Flo" Jarbeau
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of a very special person (Flo) Florian Jarbeau, Wednesday December 26, 2012 at his residence in Field at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Elvine (née Labrecque) Jarbeau of Field. Son of the late Onésime Jarbeau and the late Gertrude (née Lapointe) Jarbeau. Loving father of Claudette Jarbeau (Denis Sweeney) of Vankleek Hill, Nicole Jarbeau of Sudbury, Huguette Major (Gilles) of Field, Claude (Carole-Anne) of Kitchener Waterloo, Normand (Nicole) of Field, Louise Tessier (Guilles) of Sturgeon Falls and Carole Gareau (Vincent) of Embrun. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews Predeceased by his grandson Daniel Jarbeau. Also survived by his sisters Armande Morrison (late Garfield) and Virginie Morrison (late Wallace).
Predeceased by his sister Thérèse Paquette (late Armand) and by his brother Bruno (Fernande of Field). Florian worked 39 years for the CNR. When he retired, he took care of the Field skating rink for 20 years. Flo enjoyed spending time in is green house and his flower beds. He also enjoyed hunting with is family. He found his greatest pleasure surrounded by his loving family and friends but especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thank you to Dr Morrison, VON (CCAC) and Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church, Field Saturday December 29th, 2012 after 10:00 am. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am. Donations to the Field First Response or the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (Emergency Department) will be gratefully acknowledged by his family (cheques only). Flo will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
