The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls Thursday August 8th 2013, at the age of 72 years. Daughter of the late Oscar Rivet and the late Blanche (née Robert) Rivet. Loving wife of Aurel Laurin of Sturgeon Falls. Dear mother of Marc (Jeanette), Yves (Lynne), Dominique Kienapple (Robert) all of Sturgeon Falls and Sylvie Gaudette (Dwaine) of Thunder Bay and daughter in law Cathy (Jean) of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren Eric, André, Caitlynn, Angelica, Chantelle, Téfani, Raymika, Malcolm and Bronte. Also survived by her sisters Hélène Killingsworth (Bill) of Kelowna B.C. and Rev Sr. Odile Archambault f.d.l.s. of Ottawa. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Robert Rivet (late Sylvia), Yolande Tassé (Armand of Gatineau), Bernard Archambault (Murielle of Montreal), Denise Morin (Gilles of Montreal), Denis Archambault (late Rollande). Françoise was an RN and worked at the Health Unit as a school nurse for 25 years. She was known to many in the community for her kindness, compassion and generosity. Her selfless love and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren also transcended to her extended family and friends. She took great pride in ensuring her loved ones had everything they could possibly need. Her loss will leave a great void for those who had the honor and privilege of having her in their lives. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls Wednesday August 14th 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday August 15th 2013 at 1:00 in Sacré Cœur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated (chèques only).
