The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday March 27th 2013 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late David Piché and the late Georgianna (née Renaud) Piché. Predeceased by her husband Raymond McMurray (2007). Loving mother of Gisèle McMurray (Daniel Daoust), Denis (late Joanne) both of Sturgeon Falls, Carmen McMurray (Clint Penner) of Val Caron. Predeceased by her son Paul (Debborah of Sturgeon Falls). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Patrick, Danielle, Karine, Janelle, Victoria, Wesley, Chantal and Alain. She will be remembered for her wittiness, her relentless sense of humor and her desire to make people laugh. Also survived by her sisters Blanche Duhaime (late Isidore) of Sudbury and Annette Roberge (late Conrad) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her sisters Rita Beaudoin (late Ligouri), Lucille Roberge (late Wilfred), Marie-Laure Lavallée (late Jos), Fleurette Coutu - Howarth and by her brothers Gérard (late Laura) and Jules. The family will receive friends at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls Saturday April 6, 2013 after 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (cancer services) would be appreciated (cheques only). A heartfelt thanks to the gang at the King Street Residence Mutual 1 for contributing to the enhancement of Gaby’s last years.
