Passed away peacefully at Au Château in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, May 19th 2015 at the age of 83 years.
Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Florian Shank (2010). Loving mother of Louise Duchesne (Jean-Guy) and Robert Shank (Hélène), both of Sturgeon Falls and dear sister of Georgette Lacourcière (late Jean) of Warren, Michigan. Cherished by her grandchildren, she was a proud grandmother to Paul Duchesne (Amy Kirby), Anne Spencer (Matthew), Mathieu Shank (Céline), François Shank and André-Michel Shank.
Also survived by her brother-in-law Laurent Shank (Deanna) and her sister-in-law Mignonne McAvoy (David) both of Sturgeon Falls and many nieces and nephews.
Despite a lifelong battle with Multiple Sclerosis, she always maintained a positive outlook and had an infectious smile.
Her memory will forever be a source of strength and inspiration to her family and all who knew her.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, May 23rd. The family will greet family and friends from 1:30 to 2:00 pm.
