Condolence: Dear Jackie,

I am so thankful that my husband and I were able to get up to see you and Gord both before he passed. Dad always said that Gord was a wonderful and friendly guy - and he was so right. I'm thankful for the memories that I will be able to hold on to of my trips up there with Dad, as well as with my husband. Dad's knife will be even more special now, as Gord held on to it for such a long time. Thanks for my name, Gord.

Condolence: Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. I have many wonderful memories of summers spent on the river listening to Gordie tell stories to my brother and I. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: We enjoyed many summer vacations at Wajashk Cottages and our boys couldn't wait to hear Gord's jokes. We often asked "where can we catch the big one"? and Gord always teased us and replied, "out there"!!! We sincerely send Jackie and family our sincere condolences and we know Gord's spirit will be with us always on the French.

Condolence: Dear Jackie and family- I will remember Gordie as a caring man who wanted to learn from his experience of loss when "Boy" died. He willingly helped many other fathers through their bereavement and searched for the lessons in the losses. His sense of humour was a wonderful side of him but I will mostly remember the courage he showed to push through grief. We can all learn from his example. I respected him and know the respect was returned. His memory will live on in my heart. He was a special man and a good friend.
