I too have many fond memories of visiting Uncle Greg and Auntie Lucille as a child. In addition to those recounted by my sister Lisa, I remember pens of rabbits, riding through the bush on Uncle Greg's all-terrain vehicle and, most vividly, seeing a gutted moose strung up to the ceiling of Uncle Greg's garage. Although the language of our visits was mostly French, Uncle Greg always made sure to include his anglophone nieces and nephew with kind words and sincere questions.
My deepest sympathy is extended to Auntie Lucille, Micheline, Pauline, Marcel and the entire Desormiers family.
Repos éternel, accorde-lui, Seigneur
et laissez la lumière perpétuelle briller sur lui.
Qu'il repose en paix. Amen.
