The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday, May 13, 2016 at the age 75 years. Daughter of the late Eddy Gobeil and of the late Bertha (née Rancourt) Gobeil. Wife of the late Claude Girard. Loving mother of Luc (Sue) and Carole Venne (Pierre) both from Sturgeon Falls and Denis of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Eric, Patrick, Michel, Kim, Martin, late Renée and by her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Tristan and Elijah. Dear sister of Colette Carrière (late Gaston) of Noëlville, Valeda Brunet (Hector) of Gatineau, QC and Michel Gobeil (Gail) of Pickering. The family will receive relatives and friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday, May 20th, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm. A funeral service will follow at 4 pm, in the funeral home’s chapel. Donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (cheques only).
