The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, March 16, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Daughter of the late Jules Charbonneau and of the late Seria (née Belliveau) Charbonneau. Predeceased by her husband Aurèle Delorme. Loving mother of Louise Cazabon-Régimbal (late Norman and late Raymond) of Tilden Lake, Gail Aubertin of Sturgeon Falls, Claire Violette (Gilles) of Orleans, Yvonne Tremblay (Charles) of Sudbury, Yvan Delorme (Patricia) of Timmins and son-in-law Raymond Aubertin. Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Yvonne Gagné (late René). Predeceased by her brothers Azarie Pitre (late Flore), Edouard (late May), Auguste (late Sheila), Aimé (late Jeannette), Arthur. Also predeceased by her sisters Selainire Gladu (late Raoul), Laurence Viens (late John), Victoria Lalonde-Ranger (late Frank, Joe). Irene was a dedicated homemaker, excellent cook and seamstress. She owned and operated Glenrock Lodge along with her husband Aurèle and brother-in-law Victor for over 30 years. She was an avid sports minded person enjoying cross country skiing, skating, hunting and snowmobiling. In her retirement years Irene became an avid golfer going on to win a hole in one. Special thanks to the staff of West Nipissing General Hospital and Au Château Home for The Aged of West Nipissing for their kind and compassionate care over the years. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1:30 pm.
