Jacqueline Ménard (née Lefebvre)
Jacqueline Ménard (née Lefebvre), born May 13th 1930, passed away January 26th, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Daughter of the late Herminie (née Cossette) and Philippe Lefebvre. Wife of the late Georges Ménard. Loving mother of Michel (Marguerite Déquanne), Jacques (Louise Lelièvre), Paul (Louise Bourgeois), André, Monique (John Evans) and Mireille (Éric Robitaille). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jean-Jacques (Crystal), Mikelle (Dwayne Wilson), Médérik (Shana Levac), Robin, Raphaël, Isaac, Éloïse and Émeri as well as her great-grandchildren Troy and Devin. Born and raised in the Flour Mill area, Jacqueline graduated from the nursing program in Parry Sound. Upon returning to Sudbury, she worked at St. Joseph Hospital as well as Sudbury General Hospital. She excelled at caring for patients and their families on the maternity and surgical wards. Jacqueline and her loving husband Georges were surrounded by a large family which quickly became Jacqueline’s first passion and her labour of love. She will always be remembered for her warm and welcoming home, the medical care and attention she gave to members of her community, her kind and her calm demeanor, her pleasant disposition and her respect for those around her and the environment. The family will receive parents and friends at Notre-Dame–du-Rosaire Church, Blezard Valley, Saturday February 6th 2016 after 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am. Donations to the Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire Church-elevator project (cheques only) would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
