The family announces with sorrow his death peacefully at home in Sturgeon Falls after a long struggle with cancer, Sunday April 22, 2012 at the age of 71 years. Son of the late Antonio Lafleur and the late Laurette (née Talbot) Lafleur. Dear father of Jessica (Gaetan), Marijeanne (Nelson) and Guy (Linzi). Loving friend of Cécile. Predeceased by his son Robert. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Janelle, Chace, Joshua, Marcelin, Natasha and Steven, his many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Survived by his sisters Lorraine (Ray), Gisèle (Glenn), Sharron (Pierre), Emely (Jack), Gladys (Laurent) and by his brothers Percy (Simone),Sunny (Rollande), Jacques (Francine), Claude (Connie) and Richard (Marie Anne). Predeceased by his brothers Marcel, Nelson, Elwood and his sisters Claudette and Nicole. Jessy will also be missed by his childhood best friend Roger. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday, April 25th 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday April 26, 2012 at 11:00 in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
