Lee, John Robert (1930-2015)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday, August 26th 2015 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Harry Lee and of the late Sarah Margaret (née MacLeod). Father of Robert (wife Doreen) of Bonfield, Sandy (husband Domenic Costantino) of Ottawa, Brenda (husband John Franklin) of Lunenburg, Roderick of Warren, Wendy (husband Robert Deforge) of Sudbury, Norman (wife Lija Whittaker) of Toronto. Predeceased by his son Rory. Grandfather of Joseph, Heather (husband Darcy Leichert), Cameron, Angela, Adrienne, Esther, Priscilla, Joanna (husband Brian Lauzon), Naomi, John, Scott (partner Jazmine), Stephen (partner Katrina), Krisjanis, Steffan and Katrina. Great grandfather of Adam and Alexandra (Leichert), Emmit and Benson (Deforge) and Beckett (Deforge). John is survived by his brother Neil, sisters Mora (Campbell), Ruth (Harrison), Harriet (Faulkner) and Grace. Predeceased by his sisters Marion and Ellen and by his brother David. John was a well-known and respected member of the Warren farming community. He owned and operated his family farm for over 50 years and would also shuttle cattle to the Kitchener area for more than 35 years.
