The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday April 24 2012, at the age of 56 years. Son of the late Vincent Disley and the late Jeanne (née Barrette) Disley. Loving husband of Carol Gravelle of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Samantha Disley (Robert) and Laureena Gravelle-Disley both of Sturgeon Falls, Richard Gravelle (Rochelle) of Sudbury, Steven Gravelle (Natalie) of Warren, Pam Zaba (Tim) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his son Joey Disley Jr. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Cassandra, Becky, Payton, Melissa, Connor, Alexis, Alyssa and Chloé. Survived by his brother Paul Disley (Sue) of Ottawa and his sisters Carol Phippen (Vern) of Timmins and Vivian VanDeKraats (Nicolaas) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his sister Connie Disley. Also survived by his longtime friend Denis Laurin. Joe’s family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Bourgault and the nursing staff at the West Nipissing General Hospital for their dedicated and compassionate care. The Disley family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday April 27, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday April 28, 2012 at 11:00 in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls.
