The family announces with sorrow her death in Toronto, Sunday April 1st 2012, at the age of 70 years. Daughter of the late Reginald Turney and the late Alice (née Smith) Turney. Predeceased by her husband John Holzapfel. Loving mother of Dianne Holzapfel of Barrie, Nancy Holzapfel of Field, John Holzapfel of Toronto, Joanne Holzapfel (Martin Bednarczuk) of Burlington, Cathy Holzapfel (fiancé Sam Labbe) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her daughter Joyce Hatch (Dale of Beamsville). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren Christina, Shawna, Ryan, Meagan, Jacob and Mitchell. Survived by her sister Edith DeQuetteville of Oakville. Predeceased by her sister Linda Cipro. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday April 5, 2012 from 10:00 to 12:00. A funeral service will be held at 12:15 in the funeral home chapel.
