During the years at the nursing home, Lina's health gradually deteriorated. Whenever I visited her, she was always so grateful for everything in her life, especially Jesus and her family. She was proud to tell me the names of everyone in the photos displayed in her room and the senders of her lovely cards. She appreciated everyone and everything that was done for her. In spite of discomfort and disability, Lina always expressed thanks to God for her blessings and refused to complain. Lina's deep faith and dedication continue to inspire me and I thank God for the blessing she has been in my life.
