The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday June 25th 2013, at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Thomas and the late Levina (née Harris) Armitage. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (née Lajeunesse). Dear father of Wanda Kettle (Lawrence), Gail Koster (late Wally) and Thomas all of Sturgeon Falls, Debbie Ducharme (Arthur) of Lavigne, Sonny (Sandra) of North Bay, Lindsay Jr of Red Cliff, Alberta and Neomi Armitage (John) of Guelph. Predeceased by two infant children, his son Steven (1966) and daughter Bonnie (1967). Also survived by his good friend Darlin Armitage of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Loving brother of Beryl Dagg (late Goldie), Marion Olmstead (Harvey) both of Sturgeon Falls and Tressa Zoldy (late Jo) of Elliot Lake. Predeceased by his brothers Victor (Theresa of Sturgeon Falls), Harris (late Laura), Samuel (late Claudia), Duncan (Helen of Sturgeon Falls) and by his sisters Rebecca Genereux (late Henri), Doris Guenette (late Jules), Blanche Bellefeuille (late Herman). The family will receive friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday June 28th 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday June 29th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls.
