The Gignac family is sad to announce the passing away of Louis Lucien Gignac. He was born in River Valley in 1931 and died at Au Chateau in Sturgeon Falls on March 21, 2014.

We wish to thank the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their excellent care and kindness. We are grateful to the staff of Au Chateau in Sturgeon Falls for their attention, dedication and responsiveness to Louis and his family’s situation.

If there is anything that could be done for Louis, it would be to plant a tree some time in your life. He planted over 50,000 trees in his life and would have loved to know that someone would plant one in his memory.
