Obituary

Maurice "Moe" Ducharme (1945-2020)

The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Sunday, July 11th 2020, at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Rosario Ducharme and of the late Laurencia (née Arbour) Ducharme. Loving husband of Jane (née Stevens) Ducharme. Dear father of late Micheline Dumont (Albert), Suzanne Ducharme and Daniel Duchame (Angèle). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Alex, Brenda, Paul, Jacob, Pascal, Nathaniel, Samuel, and Marcel. He is survived by his siblings Léonide Ducharme, Florianne Hérard, and Thérèse Bidal. Predeceased by his brothers and sister Annette Gaudette, Sylvio Ducharme, and Jean-Claude Ducharme. Moe was the driver of a group of co-workers to and from Inco for close to 32 years. During his spare time Maurice was a highly active member of the Sturgeon Falls Rod and Gun club. Besides helping with the club, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, making wine, and above all else spending time with his family. As per the family’s wishes, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements in care of Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls
