The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Sunday November 9th 2014 at the age of 75 years. Son of the late William Lariviere and of the late Esther (née Dokis) Lariviere. Loving husband of Bella (née Rivet) Lariviere of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Lynne Lariviere of Ottawa and Michel (Rachael) of North Bay. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Jesslyn. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Phinia, Léo, Yvonne, Isabelle (Jessie) Madeleine, Gerry, Jimmy and Homer. Survived by his sisters in law Rosa Desgroseilliers (Albert) and Suzanne Desgroseilliers. Also survived by his numerous nephews and nieces. An accomplished auto body repair man, Maurice was the former owner of Cold Springs Camp in Dokis. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday November 11th 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Wednesday, friends may call after 9:00. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday November 12th 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, Dokis, ON.
