The family announces with sorrow her passing at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 73 years. Loving wife of John Slater of Sturgeon Falls and cherished mother of Sean (Laura) of Hamilton and Dan (Nancy) of Montreal P.Q. "Grandma Nell" will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren, Haley, Cassandra, Ainsley, Ashley and Madeline. Dear sister of Arthur Kool (Gail) of Smithville, Jerry Kool (Margaret) of Hamilton, Corrie Kool of (Kitchener), Ineke (Richard Denley) of Stoney Creek and John Kool (Eileen) of Richmond B.C. She is predeceased by her brother Wes Kool. The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday, February 3, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm. A private family burial will be held in the Spring. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation are appreciated. The family offers special thanks to Dr. K.
