The family announces with sorrow his death peacefully at home, Sunday January 15 2012, at the age of 66 years. Son of the late Emery and Cecile (Danis) Turner. Loving husband of Christina (née Duraj) of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Amanda Turner (Brent Gamble) of Lively. Predeceased by his son David (1994). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Survived by his brothers Rhéal Danis (Laura) of Crystal Falls, Reg Turner (Diane) of Niagara Falls and his sisters Pauline Demonski (late Bill) of Espanola and Diane Turner (David) of Capreol. Also survived by his brother-in-law Frank Duraj (Sara) of Newfoundland and sisters-in-law, Donna Hancock of Sturgeon Falls, and Wanda Saunier (Sam) of Woodstock. Paul owned and operated Turner's small engines in Sturgeon Falls for many years. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday January 18 from 2 to 4pm. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 4:15pm.
