The family announces with sorrow his death in Orillia, Friday, September 25, 2015 at the age of 70 years. Son of the late Eugène Bélanger and of the late Maria (née Foucault) Bélanger. Cherished husband of Violet (née Purdy) Bélanger of Sturgeon Falls. Loving father of Sylvia Trépanier (Roland Sr.) and William both of Iroquois Falls, Denis (Micheline) of Port Elgin and Lisa Bélanger (Doug) of Orillia. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Cheralee, Rolly Jr., Marlo, Austin, Cassidy, Brady, Tom, Justin and by his great-grandchildren, Kiya, Oliver, Rhealynn, Rhylie and Rowan. Survived by his sister, Rose Vanier of Wilberforce. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. As per Philippe’s wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
