It is with great sorrow that the family of Rachel Legault announces her death in Hanmer, on Thursday October 10, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Daughter of the late Isaïie Laplante and the late Albina (née Bigras) Laplante. Loving wife of Arthur Legault of Hanmer, formerly of River Valley. Dear mother of Monique Poitras (Fernand) of River Valley, Luc (Céline), Micheline Poitras (Ron) both of Hanmer, Francine Bazinet (Yves) of Verner. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren Casey (Stephanie), Julie, Josée (Patrick), Gaetan (Patricia), Darquise (Brett), Bud (Kayla), Joel (Michelle), Manon and by her 11 great-granddaughters and 3 canines companions. Also survived by her sister Laurette Violette (Lionel) of Warren and by her brother Georges Laplante (Noella) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her sister Claudette Gelinas (Maurice of Belle River, Windsor) and by her brother Armand Laplante (Micheline of Verner). The family will receive family and friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday October 16thh 2013 from 1:30 to 3:30.
