With heavy hearts the family announces with sorrow his death in Cache Bay, Tuesday May 5th 2015 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Lorenzo Lachance and of the late Léonie (née Shank) Lachance. Husband of the late Colleen (née Fike) Lachance. Dear father of Diane Lachance (Paul Lachance), Lee-Ann Lachance-Levac (René Grenier), Suzanne Lachance, (Yves Beaudry) and Barry Fike. Predeceased by his daughter Lynn Lachance. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Philip, Rachel, Charles, Brigitte, Robert, Francine, Émilie, Jason, Shannon, his step-grandchildren Éric, Pierre, Mélanie, Danielle, Renée-Claude, André-Michel, his great-grandchildren, Hazel, Mason, Riley, Tyler, Karson and step-great-grandchildren Jacob, Loik and Tamélie. Also survived by his brothers Léo, Lionel (Margot), Lucien (late Vivianne) and Raymond (Gisèle). Predeceased by his brother Gilles. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday May 10th, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday May 11th, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in Ste Thérèse d’Avila Church, Cache Bay.
