The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday April 17, 2014 at the age of 71 years. Son of the late Albert Giroux and of the late Germaine (née Tessier) Giroux. Loving husband of Aline (née Malette) Giroux of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of André (Marianne) and Jean-Pierre (Jennifer). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Nathalie (Jon), Julie (Marc), Sébastien, Gabriel and by his 2 great-grandchildren Caleb and Chanelle. Also survived by his brothers Jean-Pierre (Anita), Roland (Estelle), Francois (Réjeanne), Gilles (Jeannine) and by his sisters Jacqueline (Gaëtan), Suzanne (Armand), Denise, Pauline (Brian) and Pierrette (Denis). Predeceased by his brothers Raymond, André and by his sisters Claire and Marie. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday April 25, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday April 26, 2014 at 11:00 in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls.
