The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday March 6th 2015 at the age of 83 years. Daughter of the late Alphonse Mainguy and of the late Imelda (born Allaire) Mainguy. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Olmstead. Loving mother of Robert (Hectorine) of Chelmsford, Richard (Jane) of Blind River, predeceased Raymond (Line) of Elliot Lake, Daniel (Vicky) of Serpent River and Linda (David McGregor) of Ottawa. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren and by her 28 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters Lucille Desormeaux (predeceased Arthur) of Sturgeon Falls, Sister Irène Mainguy of Ottawa, Jeannette (Orald Plante) of Elliot Lake and by her brothers Fernand (Claire) of Kitchener, Gérard (Jeannine) and Jacques (Denise) both of Oshawa. Predeceased by her sister Aurore Monette (predeceased Alpheda Monette) and by her brother Georges. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, May 9th ,2015 from 10:00 a.m. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel.
