The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday January 30th 2014, at the age of 93 years. Son of the late Thomas P. O’Brien and of the late Annie (née Driscoll) O’Brien. Loving husband of Cécile (née Durette) O’Brien of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nephews and nieces. Loving brother of Mary Gleeson (late Claude) of Pembroke. Predeceased by his sisters Madeleine O’Brien, Annie Marcotte, Beatrice Jones and by his brothers Joseph, Lenny and Sylvester. The family will receive friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Monday February 3rd 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday February 4th 2014 at 11:00 in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls
