The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday, January 10, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Daughter of the late Hector Forget and of the late Aurore (née Joanette) Forget. Wife of the late Roland Mayer. Loving mother of Gisèle Mayer and André Mayer (Lorraine) both of Sturgeon Falls, Yvonne Sirois of Scarborough, Jeannette Pitre (Serge) of Toronto, Jean-Paul Mayer (Linda) of Kitchener, Pierrette Lagacé of Montréal, P.Q. and Yvon Mayer (Denise) of Fredericton-N.B. Predeceased by her son François Mayer. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Rhéal Sirois and by all of her brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, April 17, 2014 after 10:30 am. Funeral service will follow at 11 am, in the funeral home chapel.
