Obituary for Tracey Villemaire-St.Jean (née Thomson)

Tracey Villemaire-St.Jean (née Thomson)
The Thomson family announces with great sorrow that on Sunday, February 15th, 2015 in North Bay, our beloved Tracey passed away at the age of 50 years.
Daughter of James (Bucky) Thomson and the late Karen (née Lavergne) Thomson. Dear mother of Paul Villemaire, Kryssy Villemaire and Emilie St. Jean. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her siblings Jamie Cushing (Joe), Cathy Bull (Brent), Peggy Thomson (Marc), Curtis Thomson (Tessa), Jennifer McLaren (Steve) as well as her eight nieces and nephews.
The eldest of a boisterous six, wherever the laughter was you could be sure that Tracey was at the heart of it with her off-coloured humour and quick wit. Tracey came up with a nickname for almost everyone in her inner circle, it was just one of the ways she made you feel welcomed in her life. She was a real laugher, and was happiest spending time with family…she loved her children deeply and was an important part of both her Sturgeon clan and the Grimbsy community who welcomed her with open arms.
A proud, warm and caring woman, Tracey was a bright light who touched the lives and hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her, for a time, however fleeting. She fought valiantly after her diagnosis, her bravery was admirable. Never one to complain, she taught us so much about grace during these last few months. We are forever changed because we had the pleasure of sharing our lives with such a beautiful lady. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday February 21, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 2:00 pm. Donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be appreciated (cheques only). Arrangements in care of Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
