Shank, Yolanda (née Bernard) 1928 -2017
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Daughter of the late Oscar Bernard and of the late Marie-Ange. Predeceased by her husband Alcide Shank. Loving mother of Christian (Diane) of Plantagenet, Mario (Estelle), Guy (Phamie Linkletter) both of Cache Bay and Gail Shank (Yves Bouchard) of Ramore. Also predeceased by her sons Gaëtan (Jeannine of Chelmsford) and Alcide (late Linda Humphrey). Dear sister of Raymonde Bernard, Diane Polo, Gaëtan Bernard, Michel Bernard, Denis Bernard, Nicole Bernard, Lorraine Bernard, Judith Bernard, Lynne Bernard Claudette Bernard and Réjean Bernard. Predeceased by her sister Gaëtanne Breton. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Monday, July 10th 2017 from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel.
