Aldebert  Lavergne
The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Tuesday November 18th 2014 at the age of 86 years. Son of the late Rosias Lavergne and of the late Germaine (née Aubertin) Lavergne. Predeceased by his wife Thérèse (née Perreault) Lavergne. Loving father of Roger (Olive), Claire Lavergne both of Sudbury, Angèle Lapointe (Louis) of Verner. Predeceased by his son Daniel. Lovingly remembered by his 10 grandchildren and by his 20 great grandchildren and sadly missed by his dear friend Rose Perreault. Dear brother of Simone Shank (late Doris) of Ottawa, Gérard (Claire), Alcide (Jeannine), Gaëtanne Desgrosseilliers (Hormidas), Rhéal all of Sturgeon Falls, Denise Quenneville (late Jacques) of Azilda, Hélène Quenneville (Réjean) of Field. Predeceased by his brother Hervé and by his sister Annette Quenneville (late Gérald). Aldebert retired from Falconbridge Nickel Mine after 32 years of service. He was a volunteer firefighter for the town of Rayside Balfour for many years and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus in the third and fourth degree. A man of many skills he was a talented carpenter. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday November 21th 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. The Christian community of Sacré Coeur will celebrate the funeral mass Saturday November 22nd 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Ste Thérèse d’Avila Church, Cache Bay. Donations to the Heart and Stroke would be appreciated. (cheques only)
