It is with great sorrow that the family announces his tragic death on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the age of 53 years. Beloved husband of Sylvie (Labelle) Robineau and very loving father of Danika. Cherished son of Yvan Robineau (Nicole Guindon) and of the late Denise (née Martel) Robineau. Dear brother of Gilles Robineau (Lynne), Daniel Robineau (Suzanne) and of the late Joanne Lamarche (Pierre). Son- in-law of the late Jean-Guy Labelle and of Colette Labelle (née Michaud) (Len Fournier). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mike had been a teacher for 23 years and was presently teaching at École Secondaire Odysée in North Bay. He embraced life and lived it to the fullest. Mike was an avid outdoorsman and was happiest when surrounded by family, friends and music. He will be deeply missed and will always be remembered. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday July 25th 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church in Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated (cheques only).
