Young Voyageurs

"Sometimes paths only cross once, and yet they forge a lifelong memory." Near l'Ile aux Scoutes, behind la maison des Freres, (1971), Michel and I would pretend to be Coureurs-des-Bois. We would paddle the Robineau canoe, upstream la riviere Sturgeon, and dock at all the old pier cribs along the way. He also loved his music. He would play and introduce me to his collection of 45's. Music and a zest for life were clearly evident very early on. He will be missed!
