The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday February 14, 2013 at the age of 91 years. Daughter of the late Alfred Michaud and the late Lucie (née Robitaille) Michaud. Predeceased by her husband Georges Trudel. Dear mother of Robert (Rita), Richard (Pauline), Marc (Diane) all of Sturgeon Falls, Jean-Claude (Noëlla), Marie Trudel (Barry Kirwan) both of Verner, Lucien (Denise) of St Eustache, Qc, Marielle Trudel (Ronald Brière), and Gabriel both of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sister of Léopold Michaud (Norma) of High River, AB, Lucienne Delorme (late René) and Lorenzo Michaud (Françoise) both of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her sisters Gilberte Perreault (late Odilon) and Jeannette Doré (late Gerard) and by her brothers Gilbert Michaud (late Clarisse) and Dr. Rhéal Michaud (late Ida). Rita was a devout Roman Catholic. Her fervent prayer was always to the Blessed Mother in whom she had great trust. She enjoyed spending her summers at her family cottage on 3 Mile Lake. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday February 17, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday February 18th, 2013 at 11:00 in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated (cheques only).
