Dear Jackie and family- I will remember Gordie as a caring man who wanted to learn from his experience of loss when "Boy" died. He willingly helped many other fathers through their bereavement and searched for the lessons in the losses. His sense of humour was a wonderful side of him but I will mostly remember the courage he showed to push through grief. We can all learn from his example. I respected him and know the respect was returned. His memory will live on in my heart. He was a special man and a good friend.
