Having known Gord for 50 years, I have always been struck by his immense spirit, heart, courage determination and generosity. Always in the forefront, was his honesty and of course his humour. He believed that respect and the right attitude were critical in any situation; as a result, he earned the respect of countless people he encountered, many of whom he also supported with understanding and tolerance. Jackie and his family were the flames that danced in Gord's heart. He is indelibly written in mine . Farewell my friend.
